As with any nonprofit organization, each donation made to LIFE entitles you to a tax deduction of up to 66% of your donation amount, up to a maximum of €1,000. Beyond that, and in accordance with the law, the remaining amount benefits from a tax deduction of 66%, up to a maximum of 20% of your taxable income.
Did you know? When the amount of donations exceeds the limit of 20% of taxable income, the excess is carried forward over the following 5 years and is eligible for tax relief under the same conditions. Donors affected by this situation must duly file their tax return to inform the tax authorities.
